Hello fellow stampers! You are visiting with Theresa McEntee-author of Theresa’s Treasures Paper Crafts. I am hopping with the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop today. There are several of us- you will find the list to follow the hop at the end of my blog post.

The Ink & Inspiration Challenge is both an image and a color challenge. I was inspired by the image because I had been wanting to use the Paper Florist Dies. These dies do not have a corresponding stamp set but they are loads of fun on their own!
The colors were also very inspirational. I love flowers. The combination of colors for this challenge brought to mind several different types of flowers I am fond of. Tiger Lillies and roses are two of them.

My goal was to make the flowers as real as possible. I tried several ways to color the flowers after diecutting them. I used Blending Brushes, Sponge Daubers and Stampin’ Write Markers. You may enjoy trying to make flowers you like!

The inside of the card needed a pretty flower. The Artistically Inked stamp set had a rose that I liked. I stamped it in Flirty Flamingo Ink. The leaves are stamped in Granny Apple Green Ink and Garden Green Ink. (I may have overdone the leaves! Lol!)

I found that making the flowers was very relaxing. It really did not take long to diecut the pieces. I hope you give the Paper Florist Dies a go!

Gorgeous card Theresa, the flowers really pop off the gray background. Love it x
Thank you. This was a really nice color challenge.
How fun! Did you ink the impression folder before putting the paper in? Or smudge it after?
I embossed the paper first. Then I dragged the ink pad over top.
Beautiful card!
Thank you very much!
Perfect card to display – flowers that never fade or die.
Thank you Tracy!
How beautiful they are!
Thanks Beth. The flowers are so fun to make!
Very pretty. I appreciate the comment & reply about adding the color to emboss folder, after it is embossed .
