Around the World On Wednesday Blog Hop-July 2025- Tic Tac Toe and CASE with Gallery Blooms

Hello and welcome! I am Theresa McEntee, creator of Theresa’s Treasures Paper Crafts. Today I have the pleasure of participating in the Blog Hop with Around the World on Wednesday (AWOW).

2025 marks a special milestone. We are celebrating 5 fabulous years of creative inspiration together! In order to honor the occasion, we are CASEing (Copy and Selectively Editing) one of our talented members each month. This month we are happy to focus on Aurélie Fabre.

The AWOW team put together a thematic hop to give you some inspiration for your own crafting. Tic Tac Toe is this month’s theme.

I chose shadow, circle and texture from the Tic Tac Toe. Aurélie’s style is know for texture, techniques and layers. This made creating a card to CASE hers loads of fun!

My Project for today

This card was made using the Gallery Blooms stamp set and Dies. I used the Stampin’ Blends in: Secret Sea, Cloud Cover, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Pecan Pie, Calypso Coral and Peach Pie.

The leaves and flowers are die cut with the Gallery Bloom Dies from the Beautiful Gallery DSP.

The Pecan Pie cardstock circle is die cut with the Spotlight on Nature Dies.

The vintage-style is created by using a Sponge Dauber to apply Pecan Pie Ink to the edges of the DSP on each panel.

Around the World On Wednesday Blog Hop-May 2024- Seasons with Gallery Blooms

Hello and welcome! I am Theresa McEntee, creator of Theresa’s Treasures Paper Crafts. Today I have the pleasure of participating in the Blog Hop with Around the World on Wednesday (AWOW).

On the second Wednesday of each month, the AWOW team put together a thematic hop to give you some inspiration for your own crafting. “Seasons” is this month’s theme.

We are also focusing on team member Cheryll Miller.  This month I am using a technique that Cheryll used on a beautiful card she posted on her blog in February 2025.

Cheryll’s card is the green and gold one on the left. I was inspired by the verdigris look of her card, which gives the card an antique appearance. The season I chose was Spring/Summer. I wanted to try the technique using pinks and copper embossing instead.

I love the season between spring and summer because it is a lot cooler here in Arizona. There are so many vivid cactus flowers that are blooming and it’s actually comfortable to be out in the sun. Of my most favorite things about the season is the emergence of the flowers. That is why I chose the flower from Gallery Blooms for the centerpiece of this card. (See some awesome Arizona catctus flower photos at the very end of this blog).

My Project for today

The technique is an Embossing Technique Cheryll called Double Embossing. Here is the process in photos.

First apply a light color of ink to the inside of the embossing folder that has the Stampin’ Up! logo on it. Then place a 4″ x 5 1/4″ Basic White cardstock in and run through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.

Next use a Sponge Dauber to apply a medium dark ink to the raised design. Then blend the two colors using a slightly darker color with a Blending Brush. The colors here are: light – Pretty in Pink, medium- Melon Mambo and dark- Blackberry Bliss.

Finally, Use a Versamark Ink pad and gently rub along the embossing. I was a bit light on the copper embossing. If I were to try it again, I would put a little more embossing powder on it.

I did not have any copper foil. So I took a piece of Pecan Pie cardstock, and covered the edge in Versamark. Then applied Copper Embossing Powder and heat set it. This is the first layer behind the embossed layer.

For the inside of the card, blend some Pecan Pie ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock. Cut a strip from a Melon Mambo cardstock die cut with the largest rectangle in the Textured Notes Dies.

All in all, I love the look!

Ranunculus Romance for the Ink and Inspiration Blog Hop- February 2023

Hello fellow stampers! You are visiting with Theresa McEntee-author of Theresa’s Treasures Paper Crafts. I am hopping with the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop today. There are several of us- you will find the list to follow the hop at the end of my blog post.

This is the challenge photo. What does it inspire you to make?

The Ink & Inspiration Challenge is both an image and a color challenge. I was inspired by the image because the flowers in the Ranunculus Romance stamp set are very similar to the photo. The colors were also very pretty and inspirational.

I had really wanted to use the Split Card Textures Dies. I got into my zone and just started stamping. Before I knew it, this card was created!

The Stampin’ Write Markers are great for applying ink to this red rubber stamp. The images of the flowers were easy to do by using the Stamparatus. That way if I missed a spot, I could reapply the ink and stamp a second time.

One of my favorite ribbons in the whole catalog is the White 1/4″ Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon. This ribbon can be colored to coordinate with your card. Soft Suede Ink was applied with a Blending Brush until I had the off white color.

Stampin’ Up!® Sneak Peak- Honeybee Home

I have an exciting new stamp set to give you a sneak peak of today- Honeybee Home. The 2022 January-June Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalog premieres on January 4, 2022! There are so many great stamp sets, Designer Series Papers, Dies and Embossing Folders in this catalog! If you would like me to be your Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator and are in need of a catalog, drop me an email with your name and address. I will send you a Catalog and a free gift! My email is theresastreasures.az@gmail.com.

Now for the card!

The elements that come together to make this “Miss You” Honeybee Home card are in the Heart & Home Suite. The Heart & Home Designer Series Paper (DSP) is just gorgeous!

Measurements

Honeybee Home Miss You Card

  • Cinnamon Cider Card Stock (CS) card base: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches with a score line at 4 1/4 inches ( We will cut this to get the other Cinnamon Cider CS card pieces).
  • Very Vanilla CS: 4 x 5 1/4 inches, 2 1/2 x 3 3/4 inches and 3/4 x 1 3/4 inches (not pictured).
  • Heart & Home DSP: 2 1/2 x 5 1/4 inches.

Cutting the Card Base

Cut 1 1/2 inches off the left side of the Cinnamon Cider CS card base. This creates the card base and a 1 1/2 x 5 1/2 inch Cinnamon Cider CS piece. Cut 1 1/2 inches off the end of this piece. Now you have all of the card pieces needed.

Stamping

Start out by stamping the inside of the card. Use Cinnamon Cider Ink to stamp the largest Honeybee onto the top of the 4 x 5 1/4 inch Very Vanilla CS. Then stamp the group of flowers along the side.

Now stamp the flower with the stem onto the center of the 2 1/2 x 3 3/4 inch Very Vanilla CS. Next stamp the two bees in profile. Stamp close to the flowers so it looks like the bees are attending to the flowers.

To finish up the stamping, stamp the sentiment “Miss You” onto the 3/4 x 1 3/4 inch Very Vanilla CS.

Putting the Honeybee Home card together

Use the Paper Snips to cut the right side of the flower with the honeybees. Next adhere this piece to the 1 1/2 x 4 inch Cinnamon Cider CS. The cut portion of the flowers will hang over the edge of the Cinnamon Cider CS.

Adhere the stamped 4 x 5 1/4 inch Very Vanilla CS to the inside of the Cinnamon Cider CS card base.

Fold the left-hand flap forward and adhere the Heart & Home DSP to the front panel. (Sorry-forgot to make a photo!)

Adhere the “Miss You” sentiment to the left over Cinnamon Cider CS piece. Trim to about 1/4 inch on either side.

Stampin’ Dimensionals

Apply Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the flower and honeybee piece. Also apply a Stampin’ Dimensional on the back of the sentiment on the right. Apply two Dimensionals to the back of the sentiment on the left. You’ll see why you need two in a minute.

Remove the protective covering for the Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhere the flower and honeybee piece first. The edge of the Cinnamon Cider CS should line up with the right-sided edge of the front flap. Follow by adhering the sentiment. As you will see, you need two Dimensionals on the left because the right side is elevated by two.

Voila! You have lovely Honeybee Home “Miss You” card!

I loved making this card. I initially did not have any idea how it would turn out. Sometimes I just start out by cutting the card base and stamping some images. Then I start to see how I want them to come together.

It is very subtle, but you can add Bling!. I added the Champagne Rhinestone Jewels to the center of some of the flowers on the card to the right. In person, the rhinestones really sparkle!

Supply List

The Honeybee Home stamp set and the Heart & Home DSP will be available to order starting January 4, 2022.

I hope you enjoy my card and take the time to see everyone else’s inspiring creations by visiting the gallery. My goal for this card was to use all of the elements in the Harvest Meadow Suite Collection. The stamp set is Nature’s Harvest and the coordinating dies are the Harvest Dies. You can purchase these together with a 10% discount by ordering the Nature’s Harvest Bundle #156813.

The background is the Harvest Meadow 12 x 12 inch Designer Series Paper #156494 which was embossed with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder #156505 on a Very Vanilla Card Stock (CS) card base. I used the Stitched Rectangle dies to cut the Cork 12 x 12 Specialty Paper #156393. The cork card piece behind the sentiment is the center of the rectangle frame. A Cinnamon Cider CS Stitched Rectangle is the background for the flowers. The flowers and sentiment are stamped in the Saddle Brown Stazon Ink so that I could use the Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers for coloring. The colors of the Stampin’ Blends are: Light Pumpkin Pie, Dark So Saffron and Light Soft Succulent.

The finishing touches included using the 3/8 inch diamond Weave Ribbon #156507 and the Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots #156506.

Stampin’ Up!® Soar Confidently

Hello fellow crafters! I hope you are all doing well this week. Today’s card is made with Stampin’ Up!® Soar Confidently. This is a set that looks very vintage to me. Today’s card is a Simple Stamping card, perfect for the beginner stamper!

I love the simplicity of this card. This is definitely a very quick and simple card to make. I think this card with the words of encouragement would make a great Graduation wish.

Measurements

Measurements: Night Of Navy Card Stock (CS) card base: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 with a score line at 4 1/4 inches; Whisper White CS: 2 1/4 x 4 3/4 inches and 4 x 5 1/4 inches (not pictured); Neutrals 6 x 6 inch Designer Series Paper (DSP) in Night Of Navy: 4 x 5 1/4 inches.

Stamping

Start stamping with Night Of Navy ink and stamp the sentiment “Soar Confidently In Your Own Sky” onto the bottom of the 2 1/4 x 4 3/4 inch Whisper White CS. Next stamp the hot air balloon image above the sentiment. Note: This is a red rubber stamp which can be stamped upon a firm surface. I have a scrap paper underneath in preparation of the next step. The black paper is just to allow you to see the card piece better.

The next step is to add a few more balloons, but to use the Stamping Off Technique. This means that after applying ink to the stamp, you first stamp onto a scrap paper, then onto the card piece. This is a great way to add dimension to the images on your card.

To conclude the stamping, stamp a hot air balloon on the right-hand side of the 4 x 5 1/4 inch Whisper White CS. Finish up using the Stamping Off Technique for the next 2 balloon images. This will be the inside panel of your card.

Putting the Card Together

Use your Bone Folder in order to make a crisp fold on the Night Of Navy CS card base. Begin to put the card together by adhering the inside panel onto the inside of the Night Of Navy card base.

Similarly, adhere the 4 x 5 1/4 inch Night Of Navy 6 x 6 inch Designer Series Paper to the front of the card base.

Complete the card by first adding Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the sentiment card piece. Finish by adhering the sentiment card piece to the card front slightly to the left-hand side.

Viola! You have made a quick and simple card that would be a great masculine Graduation card or just a card with words of encouragement. Also, you could use the image and stamp a different sentiment to make a nice masculine birthday card or thank you card if you wish.

Thank you for stopping by today. I have a new plan for the New Year. On Tuesdays I will be publishing a #simplestamping post, starting a Technique blog for a Wacky Wednesday post, and will continue the Fun Fold Friday posts. I hope you will enjoy all of them!

Kylie Bertucci’s Top 10 International Blog Winners Hop September 2020- Country Home Thank You

I am so honored and excited to be participating in today’s Top 10 Winners Hop! I won a spot in the Top Ten from Kylie’s International Blog Highlight. I thank everyone who voted for my card in that hop. I was feeling very creative for this card and I hope you like it. I can’t wait to see everyone’s projects!

I used a number of stamp sets for this card. I really like to mix and match! Country Home is where you will find the milk can and flowers. The “Thank You” sentiment and the script pattern are from Very Versailles. The remainder of the stamps are from: Gathered Together, Comfort & Hope and Forever Fern. Stampin’ Up!® ink colors include: Misty Moonlight, Bumblebee, Cinnamon Cider, and Early Espresso.

I have been really enjoying the versatility you get with the Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers. From the outside in on the milk can, I blended Dark Smoky Slate, Light Smokey Slate and Light Gray Granite. The flower arrangement has Cinnamon Cider, Just Jade and Calypso Coral.

I continued some of the design from the front to the inside of the card. The tiles from Country Home are stamped in Misty Moonlight. The grid pattern from Comfort & Hope is in Cinnamon Cider. The Forever Fern leaves are in Just Jade. The little splatter pattern stamped in Early Espresso (most are Stamped Off) is also from Forever Fern.

Techniques used to make this card include: Masking, Sponging, and Stamping Off.

Thank you so much for visiting today! You are at Theresa McEntee/Theresa’s Treasures. Have a very creative day!

Kylie’s Demonstrator Training Blog Hop- August 2020

Hi! Welcome to Theresa’s Treasures. I’m Theresa and I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator in Arizona, USA. I’m so excited to be taking part in Kylie’s Demonstrator Training Blog Hop today. We are a group of Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from around the world that are taking part in training that is helping us to build a successful Stampin’ Up!® business and reach some goals we have set. We appreciate your support. This Blog Hop is a really fun way to see projects from Demonstrators around the world! I just love all the creativity! You may be starting here or have come from another blog – either way you can find the link list at the bottom of this post so that you can see every blog post and idea today. Please try and visit all sites and see how inspired you can become!

I can’t believe the Stampin’ Up!® August-December 2020 Mini Catalog is live already! I chose the Poinsettia Place Suite for my card today. So much loveliness!

I made a lot of different poinsettia cards by placing the Poinsettia Petals stamps on my Stamparatus and stamping a bunch of them onto 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 inch Very Vanilla Card Stock (CS). I colored each one in a different color scheme using the Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers then ran them through my cutting machine. I’ve made about 4 different poinsettia cards so far. This was a really quick way to stamp a bunch of poinsettia pieces.

I stamped the poinsettia and leaves for this card in Soft Suede ink. I used a blender pen for shadowing, then sponged the edges of the poinsettia in Soft Suede ink. The leaves were sponged with Garden Green ink, then Soft Suede ink on the edges. I crinkled the paper a little before laying it out on the card for added dimension.

For the “Merry Christmas” sentiment I stamped it in Early Espresso ink then cut it out with the Stitched Rectangle Dies by extending the rectangle to fit the sentiment with partial die cutting. The edges of the sentiment as well as the edges of the 1st layer of Very Vanilla CS were also sponged in Soft Suede ink.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. If your have any questions or comments, please leave them below or send to theresastreasures.az@gmail.com.

Take a Ride With Me for the last time

The end of the Stampin’ Up! 2019-2020 Annual Catalog is fast approaching. The last day to order from this catalog is on June 2, 2020. Ride With Me is a really cute stamp set with an adorable old fashioned pickup truck that will be retiring. There are coordinating Truck Ride Dies with which you can put together a 3D truck. Today’s card will be simple and straightforward. My mother told me she once drove a Cherry Red pickup truck when she first learned to drive. I made this pickup red in her memory.

There are 2 of the retiring colors on this card – Lovely Lipstick and Blueberry Bushel. I have really enjoyed this set of In Colors and will be sad to see them go.

Measurements: Whisper White Card Stock (CS): the card base is 11 x 4 1/4 inches with a score line at 5 1/2, and you need a 3 3/4 x 3 inch piece for stamping; Blueberry Bushel CS: 4 x 3 1/4 inches; and the 2018-2020 In Color Designer Series Paper (DSP): 4 1/4 x 2 1/2 inches in Lovely Lipstick.

I initially stamped everything in Memento Black ink. I did not like how the “I ❤ STMPN” blended in with the door.

I decided to try stamping the pickup in Lovely Lipstick ink. The balloons are stamped in Memento Black ink.

I thought the “I ❤ STMPN” stood out a little better when it was stamped in Memento ink on the Lovely Lipstick pickup truck.

I used Stampin’ Blends Alcohol markers in Dark Basic Black, Light Smokey Slate and Dark Daffodil Delight to start coloring the pickup.

The body of the pickup is colored with Dark Lovely Lipstick Stampin’ Blend alcohol marker. I went over the wheel covers twice to make them stand out. I also went along the edge of the door twice on either side of the “I ❤ STMPN”. I colored one of the balloons in Lovely Lipstick.

The Blueberry Bushel does not come in an alcohol marker so I used the Stampin’ Write marker which is water based to color two of the balloons.

I adhered the stamped pickup card piece to the 4 x 3 1/4 inch Blueberry Bushel CS. The card base was folded and burnished with the Bone Folder to create a crisp fold. The 2018-2020 In Color Lovely Lipstick DSP was adhered onto the center of the card front. The pickup card piece was then adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Now for some Bling! I used the Rhinestone Basic Jewels, the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels and the Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels. Lots of color and sparkle!

Using the Take Your Pick tool to transfer the rhinestones to the card, I applied one rhinestone in the corresponding colors to each balloon.

Also added a trio of the Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the Lovely Lipstick DSP.

And Viola! there is your Old Fashioned pickup truck with lots of balloons and bling! If you leave off the “I ❤ STMPN” you could use this card for just about any celebration.

Make sure you take a last look at the Stampin’ Up! 2019-2020 Annual Catalog and order anything you have had on your wish list now. Time is running out! There is only 1 week left before many products retire!

Thanks for stopping by and reviewing my blog. If you have any comments, please leave them below. I would love to hear from you and hear how I am doing. I have been advised to try to use fewer photographs so that it will be easier to view my blog on the phone without using all the battery power.
