Today’s card is a bit different. I used a sentiment that is from a Stampin’ Up! digital stamp set for sale to raise funds for the World Health Organization COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund and the United Way Worldwide COVID-19 Community Response and Recovery Fund. You can purchase the Share Sunshine PDF Download and Stampin’ Up! will donate 100% of the proceeds to COVID-19 efforts. Purchase the Share Sunshine digital stamp set here. When you use the sentiments, be sure to include the #sharesunshine when you post on social media.

This type of card is made with the Punch Art Technique. Most of the shapes used to create the design are from Stampin’ Up! Punches. These are all the pieces needed to make this card.

Here are all the Stampin’ Up! Punches I used. Clockwise from the top left: Detailed Trio(eyes), 1 1/2 inch Circle (head and hair), Tulip Builder (ponytail), 1 inch Circle (neck) 1 1/8 inch Scalloped Circle (insignia) and Label Me Fancy (pupils).

I used two dies. The oval is from the Layering Ovals and the “mask” is from the Stitched Nested Labels.

Measurements: Whisper White card stock (CS): 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches with a score line at 4 1/4 inches; Bermuda Bay CS: 5 1/4 x 4 inch; Parisian Blossoms Designer Series Paper (DSP) 5 x 3 3/4 inches. The sentiment and insignia are printed on Whisper White CS.

First I will assemble the woman. These are the pieces needed.
I used the 1 inch flesh-colored (Crumb Cake) circle and the 1 inch circle punch to make the neck.
I used the hair colored (Soft Suede) 1 1/2 inch circle and the 1 1/2 inch Circle punch to create the pieces for the hair.

Now these are the pieces you will have. I use my Silicon Craft Mat to assemble the pieces so I don’t get glue all over the place, and the pieces will not adhere to the silicon.
Adhere the head to the neck. Adhere the pieces for the woman’s hair.
Adhere the eyes then the mask. (It may be easier to put the mask on first as this mask doesn’t fit as well as I would like.)
Now for the man. Make the neck and hair as above for the women.
Adhere the hair and then the mask.
Finish by adhering the eyes.
Adhere the heads to the card front. (The card front is made with the 5 1/4 x 4 inch Bermuda Bay CS and the 5 x 3 3/4 inch Parisian Blossoms DSP.) Cut the Bermuda Bay oval at one third of the way down. Use the 1 inch circle to make the space for the neckline. Do this for each part of the oval.
Adhere the Bermuda Bay “scrubs”. Now adhere the sentiment “thank you for your sacrifice” with some Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Finish up with another one of the digital #ShareSunshine stamps cut out with the 1 3/8 inch Scalloped Circle punch. Viola! You have a great thank you note to give to someone in the medical field who has had to work through this pandemic. You could modify the people to be non-medical and make the card for anyone who has had to sacrifice their safety to work during the pandemic (ie. grocery, post office and police to name a few).
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed the Punch Art Technique. I have been taught to make many Punch Art cards over the years by my friend Karen Bouchikas. Thank you Karen! That experience really came in handy when designing this card!
