I really love the Cardz4Guyz Challenges because they help me think creatively outside of my usual “box”. Clean and Simple (CAS) cards are not something that comes naturally for me, so this was a nice challenge.
This card is made using the Stampin’ Up!® Beautiful World stamp set and the World Map Dies. I love the sentiment “You make the world a better place”.
This is a very quick and easy card to make. Just die cut the globe and stand, stamp the sentiment in Night of Navy ink, glue the copper strip along the side of the 3 3/4 x 5 inch Very Vanilla Card Stock (CS), mount it on a Night Of Navy CS card base and….
Viola! You have yourself a very nice masculine card letting someone special know how much they mean to you.
Thanks for visiting today. Please check out all of the entries for the Cardz4Guyz Challenge #264- Clean and Simple HERE.
I just wanted to pop on today and share this awesome masculine thank you card made with the Beautiful World stamp set.
I created this masculine thank you card with Cajun Craze Card Stock (CS) for the background on a Very Vanilla CS card base. The second layer is the Forever Gold Laser Cut paper.
I covered the Gold Hoop with leaves punched from the Brushed Metallic 12 x 12 inch CS with the Sprig Punch. The more granular gold leaf is made by applying Versamark to Crumb Cake CS and embossing with the Gold Emboss Powder. The globe and “Thank You” sentiment are also embossed with the Gold Emboss Powder. The gold twine comes from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack and the sequins from the Artistry Blooms Sequins.
Viola! You have an awesome masculine thank you Card!

Hi! Welcome to Theresa’s Treasures! I am Theresa McEntee and I am an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Bisbee, Arizona USA. I am so excited to be taking part in the last Blog Hop for this Demonstrator Training year. I have really enjoyed sharing my projects on the Blog Hop, and seeing all the fabulous projects on blogs from around the world. I am calling this card “World of Thanks”. Thanks to all of you who have been such a wonderful source of support and inspiration this year! Thanks to Kylie and Bruno for all of your positivity, support, training–everything!
Here’s my card for today:
Measurements: Very Vanilla Card Stock (CS) card base: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches scored at 4 1/4 inches, 1 x 3 inches for the sentiment and two 3 x 4 inches; Gold Brushed Metallic CS: 3 x 4 inches; Forever Gold Laser-cut Specialty Paper: Chevron background; Cajun Craze CS: 4 x 5 1/4 inches.
On one of the 3 x 4 inch Very Vanilla CS pieces, I dragged the Versamark ink pad across it and embossed with the Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I then punched it with the Sprig Punch. I also punched the 3 x 4 inch Gold Brushed Metallic CS with the Sprig Punch. I cut the sprigs apart and used them as the base of my world. The world and the sentiment are from the Beautiful World stamp set. The world is stamped on the second 3 x 4 inch Very Vanilla CS. The world and sentiment are stamped in Versamark and embossed with the Gold Emboss Powder. The world was punched out with the 2-inch Circle Punch. I used the Gold Hoops Embellishments and Acorn Trinkets. The gold twine is from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack. The sequins are from the Artistry Blooms Sequin pack.
Viola! A nice “World of Thanks” card for all of you! Again, thank you for everything this year! Thank you Kylie and Bruno!

Welcome to my Blog today for Kylie’s International Blog Highlight! The card I chose for today is a very masculine card that I created for a Zoom Catalog Kick Off Party I had at the end of June. It was my first attempt at doing an online class and my first Zoom class. Fortunately it went well!
I created this card specifically to highlight the World of Good Specialty Designer Series Paper. The travel designs are so adventurous! Perfect for a masculine card. Also great for expressing gratitude to a special person.
One of the special features on this card is the buckle from the Antique Corners and Slides.
The diagonal cuts are made with the die from the World Map Dies.
The Very Vanilla background was embossed with the Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder. I sprayed the Very Vanilla Cardstock with a little water before embossing to make the effect even more 3D. The sentiment is highlighted with the Brass Foil Sheet.
I am so grateful to all of you who are creating cards! I get so much inspiration from everyone! I can’t wait to see all the cards and projects in Kylie’s International Blog Highlight this month!

Happy Friday! Today I have a Fun Fold card for you using the World of Good Suite in the new 2020-2021 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. The stamp set is Beautiful World. This card can be a wonderful masculine card.
A great part of this card is that it highlights the World of Good Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP). This paper has travel patterns- some accented with brass foil!
The Adventure Awaits Fun fold card opens like the top of a cardboard box. All of the flaps end up being tucked in behind the 2 1/4 inch Brass Foil Circle.
Measurements: Misty Moonlight Card Stock (CS): 8 1/2 x 11 inches for the card base, and 4 x 2 1/4 inches: Very Vanilla CS: 5 1/4 x 4 inches and 4 x 2 inches; Brass Foil Sheet: 4 x 2 1/2 inches; and the World of Good Specialty DSP in 4 different designs: 2 5/8 x 1 7/8 inches each.
Use the Simply Scored scoring board to make the card base. Place the 8 1/2 x 11 inch Misty Moonlight CS with the 8 1/2 inch side on top. Use the Simply Scored Stylus to score at 2 1/8 and at 6 3/8 inches.
Turn the Misty Moonlight CS and score the 11 inch side at 2 3/4 and 8 1/4 inches.
Cut along the scorelines to cut off the four corner pieces.
Using the corner punch on the Detailed Trio Punch, round all of the corners.
Use the Bone Folder to make a crisp fold on all the scorelines. Check to see that the opposite flaps meet in the middle. Now fold the four flaps as you would fold the top of a cardboard box.
Using a non-permanent adhesive, place the World of Good Specialty DSP pieces on the card as you would like them to be. Open the card and flip over. This will allow you to see which corner of the DSP needs to be rounded with the corner punch.
Use the Detailed Trio Punch to round the appropriate corners on the DSP. Adhere the DSP pieces to the card base with a permanent adhesive. Fold the card back up to be sure all looks well.
In Misty Moonlight ink, stamp the sentiment “Life’s a beautiful journey” followed by the sentiment “Congratulations on this new beginning” onto the 5 1/4 x 4 inch Very Vanilla CS. Stamp the ink bottle and the little squiggle. On the 4 x 2 1/4 inch Very Vanilla CS stamp the globe on one end allowing space around it so you can punch it out. Now stamp the sentiment “Adventure Awaits” on the other end.
The compass and feather are stamped in Cinnamon Cider ink.
Punch the globe out with the 1 3/4 inch Circle Punch. Fussy cut the “Adventure Awaits”. Note: I didn’t realize that the 1 3/4 inch Circle Punch is retired. I recommend fussy cutting the globe because the next size, the 1 1/2 inch Circle Punch, cuts off too much of the image.
Use the 2 1/4 inch Circle Punch to cut out a circle from the Brass Foil. Tip: When punching the foil, I get a better results if I punch it out with the punch on the table, and the foil side facing towards the table.
Use the 2 inch Circle Punch to punch a circle from the 4 x 2 1/4 inch Misty Moonlight CS. Adhere the Misty Moonlight circle to the Brass Foil circle, then adhere the globe to the Misty Moonlight circle.
Lay the globe piece slightly above and to the left of center- to make it easier to open the flaps than if it is in the center. Adhere the sentiment “Adventure Awaits” to the card front. Tip: I use tweezers when I want to position something small that cannot easily be held by hand, so that it is straight.
Use a pencil to mark the edge of the globe piece. Apply Stampin’ Dimensionals just to that flap.
Adhere the globe to the card front.
Open the card up and adhere the inside piece.
Viola! The Adventure Awaits Fun Fold Card is completed and ready to send to someone! The new adventure could be many different occasions including: a new job, starting college, traveling, marriage, or retirement. This also makes a great masculine card.
Thank you for coming by and viewing my blog. I appreciate you very much. Please leave a comment if you like the card and whether or not you like the Fun Fold Cards in general. Please let me know how I am doing.

Hello and welcome to my blog for Kylie’s Stampin” Up!® International Blog Highlight! I hope you enjoy my card!
My Thank You card today highlights the World of Good Suite. The Card Stock is Just Jade which is sponged around the edges with Shaded Spruce ink. The green leaves are Shaded Spruce and Just Jade made using the Sprig Punch. The leaves are sponged lightly with the Shaded Spruce ink.
I also experimented with the Gold Hoops and Forever Gold Laser-cut Specialty Paper from the Forever Greenery Suite. The background and the golden leaves are some of the gorgeous pieces in the Forever Gold Laser-cut Specialty Paper. The Gold Hoop helps create the focal point for the globe stamped in Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder on Shaded Spruce Card Stock.
The sentiment is from the Beautiful World stamp set. I used the Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder on Very Vanilla Card Stock. The label was made from the Everyday Label Punch. The gold twine is from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack. The gold gems are the Gilded Gems. All together these products create a lot of gold sparkle!
I am grateful to all of you out there who are creating cards! I get so much inspiration from everyone! I can’t wait to see all the cards and projects in Kylie’s International Blog Highlight!
