Autumn Bouquet

Fall flowers are as beautiful as fall leaves. I love all the oranges and yellows! For this bouquet I threw in a little Baja Blue and Melon Mambo.

The stamp set is Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Bouquet. This one is a little treasure! The flowers are multiple, but as you can see, so are the sentiments! There is a little something for just about every occasion. Today we will be making a Thank you card.

Measurements: Whisper White 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches scored at 4 1/2 inches and 4 3/4 x 2 3/4 inches; Calypso Coral 5 x 3 inches.

Stampin’ Up! Ink needed: Old Olive, Melon Mambo, Calypso Coral, Balmy Blue and Daffodil Delight. You will also need: Memento ink; Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack; clear blocks: A, B, C, D and E; and adhesives: Stampin’ Dimensionals, Mini glue dots and Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Be sure to use the Stampin’ Pierce mat since these are Photopolymer stamps. I placed a black cardstock behind the card piece so you could see it better. Using the E block and Old Olive ink, stamp the bouquet stems slightly to the left of center on the 4 3/4 x 2 3/4 inch piece of Whisper White.

Use one of the larger flowers on the C block to stamp with the Calypso Coral. Tip: I usually try to use an odd number of elements as it seems to be more pleasing to the eye.

Use the D block and the lily in Daffodil Delight next.

• 

Use the smaller full flower on the A block to stamp in Balmy Blue. Next use the flower center in Melon Mambo to stamp the center of the Calypso Coral flowers.

Continue to use the flower center in Melon Mambo to make 3 small flowers in the bouquet.

Use the Memento ink and the lily flower center to accent the lilies.

•

Add leaves in Old Olive to round out the bouquet and fill in any gaps.

Stamp the “Thanks a Bunch” sentiment in Old Olive on the lower right hand corner of the card front.

Adhere the floral bouquet piece to the 5 x 3 inch piece of Calypso Coral.

Adhere Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the bouquet/Calypso Coral piece. As you can see, I have cut several of my Stampin’ Dimensionals in half. I use a full Stampin’ Dimensional in the center.

Remove the protective coating on the Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhere to the card front just over the sentiment.

Use the Magnolia Lane ribbon in the combo pack to make a bow. Adhere the bow with a glue dot.

And Viola! You have a gorgeous autumn bouquet of thanks for someone special!
