Thank you for visiting Theresa’s Treasures. I am Theresa and I am a Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator in Arizona in the USA. Today I am taking part in an International Blog Highlight put on by Kylie Bertucci. There are thank you cards from all over the world. My thank you card was so much fun to make! I hope you enjoy it.
I am so in love with the Country Home stamp set. I have created several different scenes, but this is one of my favorites. The sunflower bouquet is actually from the Jar of Flowers stamp set.
I used the Masking Technique to make the stamped pitcher appear to be in front of the milk can. The milk can is colored with the Stampin’ Blend Alcohol Markers in the Light and Dark Smokey Slate and Gray Granite. The pitcher is colored with Light and Dark Balmy Blue and Midnight Muse, with some Light Night of Navy added for the shadows.
For the sunflower bouquet I used Light and Dark So Saffron, Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody, Pumpkin Pie, Calypso Coral, Cinnamon Cider, Shaded Spruce and Just Jade.
I used the Tin Tile Embossing Folder with Misty Moonlight card stock for the background. The scene is framed in Night of Navy card stock. The ribbons are the 1/4 inch Bumblebee Gingham and 1/4 inch Daffodil Delight Ruched.
Thank you so much for visiting! Please vote for me. Thank you!

When I was growing up in New Mexico, my parents would take us camping frequently- all 8 us. We had a huge canvas tent that was blue and yellow- not very inconspicuous. We went all over New Mexico and I have many fond memories. This card reminds me of those campouts, minus the blue and yellow tent, and is perfect for the Cardz4Guyz challenge to Explore Outdoors.
The stamp set I used is the Stampin’ Up! Campology which is in the Stampin’ Up! 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. I stamped the images in Memento ink and colored with the Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers. The colors I used are: Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Night of Navy, Balmy Blue, Gray Granite, Smokey Slate, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, So Saffron and Poppy Parade.
Inside the card I stamped a coffee pot and mug. I just love the smell of the campfire and the feeling I get when drinking a hot cup of coffee early in the morning while camping.
I hope you enjoyed my card. Go by the Cardz4Guyz blog and see other cards from this Challenge #252 Explore Outdoors.
Thanks for stopping by. I really enjoy participating in these challenges. I have often struggled with making a nice masculine card. The Cardz4Guyz Challenges help give me new ideas and inspiration!
I love fun folds, so much so that I signed up for a Fun Fold Swap at the last Stampin’ Up! Convention. There were 12 people in the group, so I went home with 11 new Fun Folds! This card is inspired by one from a stamper who hailed from the Netherlands. One thing I am missing this year is meeting new people from around the world at the Stampin’ Up! Onstage Convention. We are having one, but it is virtual so it will be me, myself and I attending!
This Fun Fold highlights the double-sided Regals Assortment of 6 x 6 inch Designer Series Paper (DSP), in this case- Shaded Spruce. And this will give you another Christmas Card to have ready this year!
Measurements: Whisper White Card Stock (CS): 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches with a score line at 4 1/4 inches (this is your card base), 4 x 5 1/4 inches and 2 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches; Shaded Spruce CS: 3 3/4 x 5 inches and 2 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches; one sheet of the Regals 6 x 6 inch DSP in Shaded Spruce; Forever Gold Laser Cut Specialty Paper: 2 bunches of leaves.
The first step in a Fun Fold card is to cut the paper. Place the Regals Shaded Spruce 6 x 6 inch DSP on your paper trimmer to cut at 5 inches. Rotate the paper and cut at 3 3/4 inches. Tip: I could never remember which of the blades was for cutting and which was for scoring. I made 12 pt labels and stuck them on the proper blades.
With the 5 inch side on top, cut down 1 1/2 inches at the 2 1/2 inch mark.
Mark the inside end of the 1 1/2 inch cut with a black marker. This will not show once the card is put together.
Gently score between the corner and the black dot on each side. Tip: Keep your pressure light so you do not accidentally tear the DSP with the Scoring Blade.
Use the Bone Folder to make a crisp fold on the score lines as shown.
Now for some stamping!
Use Shaded Spruce ink to stamp the sentiment ” Thinking of you this SEASON” onto the 2 1/2 x 4 1/2 inch Whisper White CS. Stamp in the middle and a little toward the left side so you can punch it out. Stamping Off Technique: Stamp the evergreen tree onto your scrap paper and then stamp onto the edge of the 4 x 5 1/4 inch Whisper White CS.
Punch the sentiment out with the Label Me Lovely Punch. Use the 2 1/4 inch Circle Punch to punch a circle from the 2 1/2 x 4 1/2 inch Shaded Spruce CS.
Adhere the 4 x 5 1/4 inch Whisper White CS with the evergreen tree stamped on it to the inside of the 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 inch Whisper White CS card base.
Adhere the folded Shaded Spruce DSP to the 3 3/4 x 5 inch Shaded Spruce CS. Next adhere this card piece to the front of the Whisper White CS card base. Adhere the 2 1/4 inch Shaded Spruce circle to the center of the card front.
Use a small amount of Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the stems of the leaves and adhere them to the 2 1/4 inch Shaded Spruce circle.
Apply Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the sentiment and adhere it to the 2 1/4 inch Shaded Spruce circle.
Now for some Bling! The Gilded Gems are so gorgeous and shiny! The facets really make the gems sparkle!
I added 3 gems in decreasing size with the Take Your Pick tool.
Viola! You have a very easy but elegant Fun Fold winter holiday card! Add one more to your Christmas card stash!

Posted for You is a fun Stampin’ Up!® stamp set in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog that coordinates with the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch.
The Love stamp in this stamp set reminds me of the Love Series of postage stamps. This Love postage stamp I believe is from 1982. I just love the colors and different flowers.
Today’s birthday card has its own Love stamp as well as some birds and flowers.
Measurements: Whisper White Card Stock (CS): 4 1/4 x 11 inches with a score line at 5 1/2 inches (this is the card base), 4 x 5 1/4 inches, three 2 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches and 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches; Gorgeous Grape CS: 3 1/2 x 4 inches; Highland Heather CS: 3 1/4 x 3 3/4 inches and 5/8 x 4 1/2 inches.
Use Memento ink to stamp one of each design onto the three 2 1/2 x 4 1/2 inch Whisper White CS pieces. Stamp the images about 1/4 inch away from the bottom edge so they will fit in the Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch.
Stamp the sentiment “Happy Birthday” in Memento ink onto the 1/2 x 4 1/2 inch Whisper White CS strip. Stamp about 1/4 inch away from the left edge of the Whisper White CS. Note: In this image I stamped too far away from the left edge. When I needed to use the Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch I had to trim off a little for it to fit properly.
Punch all of the stamped images out with the Rectangle Postage Stamp punch.
Punch the sentiment “Happy Birthday” out by using the Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch as shown. Do the same with the 5 /8 x 4 1/2 inch Highland Heather CS strip.
I colored the stamped images with the Watercolor Pencils Assortment 2 using the colors pictured above.
I used a heavy hand with the darker areas then lightly added color over the top to create a little more depth. Note: If you have a hard time sharpening the Watercolor Pencils, invest in a metal sharpener from an art supply store. I have found that a dull sharpener just makes the pencil tip crumble. Of course, that could also be due to living in the dry climate here in Arizona.
Adhere the stamped images and the sentiment to the corresponding Highland Heather CS.
Adhere the 3 1/4 x 3 3/4 inch Highland Heather CS to the 3 1/2 x 4 inch Gorgeous Grape CS. Now adhere the stamped image piece to the 4 x 5 1/4 inch Whisper White CS. Adhere the sentiment to the 5/8 inch piece of Highland Heather CS and then to the card front.
To add a little dimension to this card I cut the Foam Adhesive Sheets into 1/4 inch strips and placed them on the back of the 4 x 5 1/4 inch Whisper White CS as shown.
Fold the 4 1/4 x 11 inch Whisper White CS card base at the 5 1/2 inch score line using the Bone Folder so you get a crisp fold. Adhere the 4 x 5 1/4 inch Whisper White CS panel to the front of the card base.
Viola! You have made a lovely birthday card! Please leave a comment below and let me know what you think. What do you like about the post? Is there anything I could improve on?
Thanks for visiting. I hope you give this card a try. I found it to be very relaxing to color the images.
