Parisian Blossoms -Love is in the Air

Hello! Hope your day is going better than mine. I am having technical difficulties today, but I believe I have everything worked out.

This is a very simple card that was inspired by a swap I received from my friend Jeanne. I just love the pastel colors and the sparkly ribbon.

The Parisian Beauty stamp set is in the Stampin’ Up! 2020 Mini-Catalog. It is part of the Parisian Blossoms Suite that includes matching Parisian Blossoms Designer Series Paper, Petal Pink Metallic Edged Ribbon and Champagne Rhinestones (as well as a Parisian Flourish Embossing Folder and Parisian Dies).

Measurements: Whisper White Cardstock (CS) Card base 81/2 x 51/2 inches scored at 4 1/4 inches and 5 3/8 x 2 1/2 inches; Petal Pink CS 5 3/8 x 4 1/8 inches; Basic Black CS 5 3/8 x 1 inches (you need two); and Designer Series Paper (DSP) 4 1/4 x 1 inches (you need two). I did not have the Parisian Blossoms DSP so I used the Bird Ballad DSP from the Annual Catalog.

Use Smoky Slate Ink to stamp the Eiffel Tower onto the 5 3/8 x 2 1/2 inch piece of Whisper White CS. Stamp the Eiffel Tower near the top to allow room for the sentiment and ribbon.

Stamp the sentiment “You’re the joy of my life” in Smoky Slate ink on the very bottom of the panel to allow room for the ribbon.

Whenever I use the Tombow Multipurpose Glue I use the Silicon Craft mat to help keep the glue off of my table. Adhere the two Basic Black 1 inch strips to the back of the Eiffel Tower panel.

Tie a bow around the bottom.

Apply Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the Eiffel Tower panel. I cut the Dimensionals in half to make them last longer. Set the card piece aside.

Use the Bone Folder to fold the Whisper White CS card base at the 4 1/4 inch score line. Adhere the 5 3/8 x 4 1/8 inch Petal Pink card piece to the front of the card base.

Adhere the 4 1/2 x 1 inch DSP panels to the Petal Pink card piece as shown.

Peel off the backs of the Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhere to the card front, lining the Eiffel Tower panel up with the Petal Pink panel.

And Viola! you have a fun card to express your love to a special someone!
